We are all Olympians when we will our minds to.
Thoughts, though silent in your head, is powerful enough to make or break you. Reading about how Singaporean rower Saiyidah has powered herself through to Rio with a list of positive affirmations, I feel heartened to know that the techniques I teach are truly effective.
What is most endearing about Saiyidah is that though rejected from national scholarships, she rises above this slight and rows on. It is highly ironic that she is competing in the quarter-finals today (9/8/16), on the same day as her country’s birthday.
When the outside world casts you out, go within and power through. Cross out any question marks, “You Have What It Takes To Be An Olympian”.
