Creating Your Best 2016!

Here’s sharing a quick guide on how to create the best year yet for yourself! Based on 2016 Ordering from the Cosmic Kitchen Journal by Dr. Patricia Crane

 

GRATITUDE: The First Step for a Wonderful 2016
While you may be excited about getting right to your affirmations for 2016, there are some important steps to take first! Gratitude is a powerful energy that opens your heart. When you are feeling gratitude, you are naturally aligning your energy with the Law of Attraction, and what you are ordering from the Universe or our Cosmic Kitchen flows to you much more easily.

Take time now to write down everything you are grateful for from 2015! Express gratitude for the “big” things (you got a raise, or met a wonderful new partner) as well as the “little” things. The more detailed you are, the better!

CLEARING OLD MENU ITEMS
In order for your orders to the Universe to work most effectively, you need to clear out old limiting beliefs that can block what you really want in your life. The unconscious mind holds an amazing reservoir of memories that are constantly creating your adult experience. Whether you have already worked on clearing some of these beliefs or not, there is always more clearing to do. 

Some clearing techniques you can use throughout the year:

Consciously pay attention to the thoughts you have during the day, and the words you speak.
The unconscious beliefs you hold become “the story” you tell yourself every day.  Really pay attention on a daily basis: what are the stories you are telling yourself (and others) about your relationships, career, finances, health, and self-esteem? These stories are creating your future! If you don’t like your current stories, change them!

Take time to delve into your unconscious.
Especially if you are finding it difficult to manifest what you want in a certain area, take time to sit down with meditation music in the background and write about your childhood memories for that area. If relationships are a challenge, what did you learn from your parents, other relatives, siblings, school, church, or other places, about relationships? If you experienced your parents having constant arguments, the “story” that lays hold in your unconscious mind is, “Relationships are difficult and people always fight.”

Once you are more conscious of the roots of the old beliefs, then you can use the other techniques below to create the new story you want.

Mirror technique
The mirror technique is a wonderful way to shift your consciousness. On a daily basis, look in your eyes in the mirror and say positive things to yourself such as, “I love you. You are doing the best you can. You deserve to have a wonderful life. I support you.”

Talk to your Inner Child
In a sense, the “inner child” is the unconscious part of you that holds the early memories forming the basis of your beliefs and “stories” about life. These accumulated minute by minute and day by day as you were growing up. By talking to your Inner Child, you can assist that part of you to let go of the old beliefs more quickly. Take the time to talk with your Inner Child and tell him or her that it’s time to let go of the past and create future you both want!

Clustering
Clustering is a rapid writing technique used to identify positive ideas and limiting beliefs connected with any issue in your life. It can help you find some of the unconscious beliefs that are holding you back.

Letter to Spirit (or God, or the Universe)
We all have access to Divine Wisdom. It’s a matter of listening more closely to what is already inside of us. A wonderful technique for doing this is writing a Letter to Spirit. Whenever you have a challenge, you can set aside some quiet time to write. Start out your letter with Dear Spirit, and then proceed to write down all your frustrations with the issue, along with all your questions about it and how to solve it. Once you feel complete with the letter, write “thank you, from (your name)”. Then close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and relax. When you feel peaceful, open your eyes and write Dear (your name). Now you are writing TO you FROM Spirit. Just let the words flow without censoring. When you feel complete, sign it, Love, Spirit.
Be grateful for the wisdom you have received.


2016 QUICK START LIST OF WHAT I WANT

Write down everything you want for 2016 as quickly as you can!

Have fun with this. Be as outrageous as you want! For now, don’t be concerned about writing your affirmations- just list everything you want for finances, career, health, relationships, and your own personal growth! As you write, feel the excitement and joy of all that happening for you.

MY AFFIRMATIONS FOR 2016

Now it’s time to write your personal affirmations! Listed below are various aspects of life with sample affirmations.  

LOVING LIFE     
I love life and life loves me. All the blessings flow easily to me and I easily receive and give love. 

RELATIONSHIPS
With yourself:
I approve of myself. I love and accept myself totally. I appreciate all parts of me. Loving myself heals my life. I express my feelings openly and easily. I forgive myself totally.  I am willing to accept love. I release negative thoughts and patterns easily. It’s OK for me to be who I am. I am lovable. I trust myself. I am innocent. I’m glad I’m a girl (or boy.) I deserve to be happy. 

With others:
I experience love wherever I go. I listen closely and open my heart when interacting with others. The love I extend returns to me multiplied. I deserve love. I enjoy wonderful associations with positive, uplifting people. I forgive and release the past. I love and appreciate the members of my family. My relationships are filled with joy and fun and love.

HEALTH
Every cell in my body is alive with health and energy. My body is strong and healthy. Every system in my body functions exactly as it was intended to. I easily choose to nurture my body with healthy foods. I move and exercise my body in ways that feel good. My immune system is strong and healthy. I meditate daily to give my body deep rest and enhance my immune system. I breathe deeply, bringing energy to all my cells. My body is flexible. My body has a remarkable capacity for healing. Every resource I need for my healing comes to me.

RIGHT LIVELIHOOD 
It is wonderful to be using all my talents and abilities in my ideal career position! I now know and follow the Divine Plan for my life. I easily listen to my Inner Wisdom to direct my daily activities and plans. Wonderful opportunities come into my life daily. It’s exciting to be working in a career that I love, with wonderful colleagues in a lovely location, and earning an abundance of money.

FINANCIAL ABUNDANCE  
I welcome all the abundance the Universe has to offer. My net income is constantly increasing as I work the same or fewer hours. My financial supply is endless and flows to me in many ways. I have more than enough money for my expenses and desires.  I keep the flow going by contributing to others.

SELF-DEVELOPMENT
My self-awareness is constantly increasing. I commit my mind to focusing on positive, healthy, loving thoughts. Being organized feels wonderful! I am patient and kind. I easily express my thoughts and feelings to others. My body remains relaxed and my mind alert throughout the day.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH
My connection with Spirit grows stronger all the time. I trust my Inner Wisdom, knowing that all the answers are within me. I listen to my guidance. I feel the Love of Spirit in my daily life, and that love flows from my heart to others. I (am willing to) forgive myself and others.


ESTABLISHING A DAILY ROUTINE

At first, it does take some energy and focus to establish a routine that includes your daily spiritual and self-growth work. However, once you have a routine established it’s becomes easy to continue it. So, for January, use an affirmation like, “It’s easy for me to create and follow a wonderful daily routine for my personal and spiritual growth!”

DAILY HABITS

Gratitude
Go to sleep and wake up with an attitude of gratitude. Remind yourself during the day to be grateful.

Affirmations
Take time weekly to write out your affirmations. Read them daily or record them on a CD and listen to them daily. Remember to FEEL them as though they have already happened.

Mirror Work 
It only takes a minute to do your mirror work each day! Isn’t it worth it to change your life?

Meditation 
Even if you only start with a few minutes, meditate every day. There are many techniques. Find the one that works for you.
 
Visualization
After you have meditated for several minutes and you are in a peaceful state, visualize the positive changes you want in your life. This peaceful state is called the “alpha brain wave state,” and it is much more powerful for using the Law of Attraction than your usual “beta wave state” in ordinary thinking.
